It was once said that “the thing that consumes us the most is the thing we worship”. The term “worship” is derived from the word “worth.” And when you look objectively at your life, ask yourself, “What is it that I give the most worth to?” Is it your job, your family, a hobby or an addiction?
Here at Fairfield Christian we believe that if a person is called to be a follower of Jesus, then He is to take top precedence in our lives. It says in Romans 12: 1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.” (NIV) Everything we do, we should do to glorify and honor God. This is a lifestyle of worship!
When you come to our contemporary worship, you experience an environment where people understand they are not the spectator – God is – and we are collectively honoring and praising His name through worship.
